Exam: If pain continues have it checked by physician. Vomiting with some amount of chest pain is acceptable, but if the pain is sever or if you noted blood with pain, or if you start having chest pain or fever, better check with doc for physical exam.

Watch diet: Over this weekend try a bland diet, avoiding acidic drinks, caffeine, carbonated beverages& spicy foods.Don't eat or drink within 1 hr of laying down . Get some Tums (calcium carbonate) or prlosec otc and see if it helps. You likely traumatized the lower end of your swallowing tube & have some acid reflux. If this hasn't helped within 3 days have it checked out.
