See a podiatrist: This may be more than just a simple puncture. Tissue or outside debris may have been implanted into the wound. You also may require a tetanus vaccination. These also easily become infected - get to a doctor.

Have it examined: Puncture wounds can lead to infections if they are not treated properly. Consider having it examined properly and irrigated/drained well. Also make certain you are up to date on your tetanus shot! the bottom of the foot makes it difficult to walk, so consider having a podiatrist check it, treat it and dispense something to remove pressure from the site when you walk.
