There are several: Rheumatoid arthritis is a clinical diagnosis based on symptoms and physical findings. Lab tests that are helpful/confirmatory include a blood count(cbc) , ESR or crp, rheumatopid factor and ccp antibodies. These would serve as good screening tests at first.
