A member asked:

I had a blood test to rule out arthritis. my doctor said it was normal. he sent my results it shows rheumatoid factor-quantative-in house <10 iu ml?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal values: Less than 40-60 u/ml consider to normal.A low number (normal result) generally means you do not have rheumatoid arthritis or sjogren syndrome. However, these conditions still can still occur in some people who have have a "normal" or low rheumatoid factor (rf).
