Floaters: Floaters are most easily seen on a clear day against a clear background. They are less visible in dim light or on a cloudy day. Sunglasses may help. There is no medicine or eye drop to get rid of floaters, and surgery is not recommended. Most floaters will improve with time.

Floaters: The sudden onset of floaters and flashing lights can indicate a retinal issue such as a retinal tear. Most, however are related to the jelly part of the eye, the vitreous becoming more liquid. The only way to tell is by seeing an eye specialist. Floaters are more visible on bright sunny days . The smaller the pupil, the more visible the floater. Wearing sunglasses would help
