Need further Eval...: Coughing blood, called hemoptysis, is usually due to bronchitis but it can also be caused by malignancy. So, you need to be re-seen by your doctor so further evaluation can occur. You may need to be seen by a lung specialist since you may need a cat scan of your chest as well as bronchoscopy, a procedure where your airways are examined with a fiber optic scope. So, see your doctor again asap.
