Not all the time: Wrist splints/braces should ber worn the least amount of time necessary to lessen symptoms. Over-use of such devices leads to muscle wasting, tendon problems, possible joint contractures and even circulatory problems. If your symptoms are so severe that you feel the need for such devices, you should consider surgery, which has a very high success rate.
