It does not matter: Don't worry too much about carb burning or fat burning. 30 minutes of exercise a day is ideal for maintaining good cardiovascular health for the rest of your life.

Not so clear: It is definitely not that simple. I believe that first you burn your excess glycogen stores so first 20 minutes burns most of the carbs that are stored and following this phase you begin to burn more of the fat. This is why most people recommend at least 30 minutes of exercise daily (ideally, not mandatory). Just do your best and make sure you eat healthier, less sweet drinks and your results will.
