Hi i was just wondering my best friend has a tumor in the middle if her chest will the surgery have any complications to remove it?

Possible.: First biopsy is necessary. Even percutaneous biopsy carries certain risks like pneumothorax and hemorrhage. If the mass is proven to be malignant surgical removal of the mass is indicated which is a major procedure be it through thoracoscopy or thoracotomy.
