Many: Besides being tired, you have decreased alertness and performance; trouble with memory and thinking clearly; moodiness & irritability which can impact relationships; auto and job-related injuries; and loss of sustained attention. Illnesses such as hypertension, heart attack, obesity, depression, anxiety, stroke, and overall poor quality of life are also associated with chronic sleep deprivation.
