Glaucoma!!!: Normal eye pressure is usually between 10-22. Permanent optic nerve damage is proportional to pressure and time with high pressures. This needs to be treated asap!

High: It means an error or if really elevated that high, then the drain of the eye is not working and steps need to be taken to bring the pressure down immediately or glaucomatous damage to the nerve will occur.
