I am on the pill and have been for the past 4 years i always take my pill regularly i used to get very bed cramps and a very heavy flow after a while it would not be so heavy it lasted for about 4 days the past 8 months i've been having a very weird perio

May need Dr.'s exam: A young and healthy woman can have an irregular period, cramping, or other menstrual symptoms once in a while. If the symptoms are brief, plus she returns to normal quickly, and then has normal periods after that, it's not too worrisome. A primary care doctor or an ob-gyn doctor should evaluate if a patient gets prolonged, recurrent, or worrisome symptoms.
