A member asked:

How long does it take to get normal kidney function after donating a kidney?

Not long: We only need 10% of our kidneys to have normal function. The healthy remaining kidney should give you full function soon after having one removed.

Donation: Your remaining kidney will increase in size over weeks and months and should be able to get close to 80% of your pre-donation GFR. So your GFR should be in the 80cc/min range, best to get labs done at 1 and 3 month interval and your transplant can advise frequency.
