Absolutely: There are several effective treatments of ptsd. Prolonged exposure therapy and (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) emdr are evidence based treatments. Serotonin antidepressants can also help. Ptsd treatment is also, in my experience, on of the things that we do in mental health that can dramatically improve a life.

Start with eval: Specific criteria must be met to make a diagnosis of ptsd. Many people have some post traumatic symptoms without having the disorder. If you are currently pained by issues from childhood, recommend that you see a therapist, psychologist or psychiatrist for formal evaluation. Based on findings, appropriate treatment can be recommended. Ptsd is treatable.
