Antobiotics: Painful ear infection can be due to otitis media(middleear infecton)or infection in the ear canal. You need to consult your doctor or ENT specialist as you will ned antibiotics by mouth and/or drops locally.For pain you can take over the counter Motrin or tylnol if you are not allergic to these.
