Depends: Facial pain can be caused by multiple things. The extreme pain which it sounds like your expressing is most likely coming from the trigeminally nerve. This is a very complicated nerve and most systemic medications do not work on this pain. This usually needs ttp be treated with injection therapy. However the root of the pain must first be discovered a neurologist maybe a starting point.

See orofacial pain: specialist for complete exam. It could be a broad range of problems, like myofacial pain syndrome, mid-facial migraine or neuralgia, etc. The only way to find the cause of your pain is to see a professional.
