A member asked:

If you have serious liver issues caused by hep-c, would it be wise to take vit.k to help with clotting ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Perhaps: Hcv and other causes of hepatocyte damage can cause issues of poor clotting which include underproduction of clotting factors. Vitamin k sort of helps but if the liver cells are really 'sick' the vitamin k will not help.
