Doctor can evaluate: If a person is "very sick" with diarrhea, she should be evaluated by her primary care doctor to see if there is dehydration, and to see if a stool culture test is needed. Sometimes people get norovirus or rotavirus diarrhea (it's very contagious) and just by coincidence had drunk juice. The doctor will help figure out if the cause is such food poisoning, and to see if medications are needed.
