My partner's ropinerole dose is being reduced by 1mg a day from 14mg to zero due to intense confusion and hallucinations. is this reduction too fast?

Not necessarily: Ropinerole is used for restless leg syndrome and parkinson's. Sounds like a severe adverse reaction, and the doctor's approach seems prudent and efficient. However, maybe an alternative medicine is required, and symptom break-thru may occur as the dose is tapered. Discuss fully with the physician.
