Not necessarily: Ropinerole is used for restless leg syndrome and parkinson's. Sounds like a severe adverse reaction, and the doctor's approach seems prudent and efficient. However, maybe an alternative medicine is required, and symptom break-thru may occur as the dose is tapered. Discuss fully with the physician.
