Do something for som: Not dwelling on the humiliation and distracting yourself by helping someone else is likely to help you feel better and forget.

Humiliation: We are born with the ability to feel hurt and confused. The extreme of hurt and confusion is a sense of humiliation. We are attacked and made helpless. There is a real humiliating world out there yet we learn much of our response to the world as we grow. Sorting out our real internal pain from what the world is telling us is possible but a lifelong process ;therapy should help.
