I need to see a doctor but not sure how to find a board certified one?

Just ask!: Just call the office and ask them. Almost all md's and do's are board certified right out of, or shortly after residency. For specialists, that's a complicated answer. Your state department of professional regulation may know, but their records may be out of date.
