Fills & Chills!: Drink a glass of cold water before eating. This will provide some satiation, and the cool water will decrease (short term) motility of your stomach. Make sure you drink another glass while you eat. Scientific studies have shown this helps with modest, but steady (not rapid) weight loss. Good diet maneuver!

Hydration is VIP: It takes more water to burn fat than it does to burn protein or carb. If your body is even slightly dehydrated you will derail fat burning and burn the other "fuels" instead. Most of us are slightly dehydrated anyway so it seem to take a lot of water - some to get you adequately hydrated and then more to burn fat.

Wishful thinking: Drinking water alone won't help you lose wt, if you don't change other variables of your life--other foods/drinks and activities. If drinking water alone helps people lose wt, no drug company would spend money on making wt loss pills. So, drink plenty of water, cut down the sweet/alcohol drinks, reduce food intake/junk foods, and increase physical activities will help. Consult doc. Good luck.
