Don't worry about it: Many rib fractures have soreness but there is no hazard from the broken ends! also, you might have separated the cartilage, which is definitely uncomfortable, but there is nothing to be done except wait while it gets better. A typical broken rib also may not show up on the earliest x-ray films, but most of us don't even get x-rays for simple broken ribs.

Bruise or fracture: Sometimes a rib fracture that is not displaced us not seen on initial chest x-ray . If you still have pain you could have a fracture or pneumonia and should see your primary doctor or go to an urgent care or er.
