The second line on my at home pregnancy test was very faint but i could still see it does it still count as being positive?

Depends: Usually according to the test insert, the test is to be considered equivocal if faint. Would advice retesting in a day or 2 - if you are pregnant your urine HCG will increase and will give a better testing, if not you can be sure you are not with the repeat test.

Re do in 4-5 days: If you had sex since you last period and missed your period by 4-5 days, do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.
