Normally: If this is a result of pressure on the nerves from the shoes, it can take several days. However, if this persists , see podiatrist.

Up to 4 weeks: You probably have something called neuropraxia ( which means temporary nerve shut down) to the area. This usually subsides by itself if the pressure is off the area and you are no longer wearing the tight shoes.
