Treat the infection: A sophisticated question. Hpylori produces urease to survive in the acid stomach. If you could stop it, it would be killed. Research is under way. R U a scientist? Not yet. You can kill the bacteria however. If you have symptoms and a test is positive you should take an antibiotic regime such as Amoxicillin and Clarithromycin for ten days together with omeprazole. 90% of ulcers are curable.
