Amberen: Amberen's an otc supplement marketed to help menopause symptoms. They list a couple of ingredients, none which look particularly harmful (or helpful). But since supplements aren't heavily regulated or consistently tested with prescription meds (like cymbalta), there are no studies that have shown the two are absolutely safe when taken together. Like many otc supplements, its buyer beware.

NSAIDS to Acetaminop: I'll jump in at the second part of your question. I would have to advise that Acetaminophen more commonly known as tylenol (acetaminophen). This is a fantastic otc substitute to nsaids. It's very gentle on the stomach. Especially if you are using them regularly. Generally if one to tylenol (acetaminophen) extra strength 500mg formulations 1-2 tab every for hours max 4g daily. Is fda approved. Make sure no other meds have apa.
