Can a multi-vitamin pill actually give you all those necessary vitamins and minerals?

It depends: Each multivitamin is different and you have to read the label to see what it contains. Consult a vitamin specialist if you have questions. It also depends on your medical conditions. If you take zantac, (ranitidine) prilosec, pepcid, or have celiac disease or similar, you may not absorb vitamins well and need an alternate method of delivery.
