Bruxism: Sounds like you're clenching or grinding your teeth while sleeping, called bruxism. You may be putting uneven pressure on your muscles while you sleep, and by morning, they hurt. See a dentist to check your bite and the wear on your teeth. Your bite may need adjustment or restoration and you may need to wear a night guard. You should also be checked for sleep apnea, which can produce bruxing.

Clenching/grinding: Most likely this is due to muscle overload/overuse from grinding/clenching your teeth unconsciously during sleep. First step would be to talk to your dentist to determine if this is the case and what could be done. If no relief is found with a nightguard, be aware that underlying heart issues may present as jaw pain as well and schedule an appointment with your physician.
