NSAIDs: Can take motrin, advil (ibuprofen) - that will help with your period pains. If new onset pain, see your doctor to make sure you don't have fibroids or polyps.

Ibuprofen: Ibuprofen is my 'go to'med for cramps, especially if it can be taken before your period starts. Other options, midol or acetominophen. Have you seen your gynecologist recently? If menstrual pain is something new for you, or if you haven't been faithful in you annual pap/pelvic exams, it's time to call for an appointment.
