Unlikely: Watering and eye discomfort may paradoxically be seen with dry eyes. Certainly you may need glasses but if you are seeing clearly and these are your only symptoms it is likely irritation. Other causes can be blepharitis, some types of allergy, infections and occasionally iritis.

No: Probably some other eye problem. Glasses help a refractive error which is usually manifest by a more constant visual complaint.
