Bitten Tongue: If you accidentally bite your tonue, just keep your mouth clean and avoid spicy and acidic foods as they will tend to cause some mild temporary pain or stinging sensations. You can rinse out with a teaspoon of salt in a glass of water to both soothe your tongue and keep in clean.

Tongue: That is painful! but the tongue heals quickly. Within 3 days your tongue should be back to normal. You can take pain medication to help with the ache. Eat soft foods to decrease discomfort.
