A member asked:

How do you treat a heat rash and does talc prevent it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The prickly bumps: Heat rash often requires no specific treatment beyond keeping cool and dry, thus allowing the body/sweat glands to heal. Topical steroids may help in more severe cases. Talcum powder may help keeping the skin folds/creases dry that may failitate healing. Best prevention is keeping well aerated, cool and dry. If severe, consult doc. Good luck.
