How to make the common cold pass as fast as possible?

COLD IS SELF LIMITED: Common cold gets better by itself, and one may use decongestants for symptom relief. Keep hugrated to keep secretions thin, keep the drainage to prevent complications and short term use of decongeastants like sudafed in severe cases is all that is needed it will take its course, there is definitely no need for antibiotics for common cold.

There is no magic :(: Sadly there is nothing much that speeds up the common cold. How sick one gets from the cold depends mostly on one's own immune system and how it reacts to the virus that caused the cold. Anything that can be done to encourage the immune system to be more rational will help some, such as sleep, time off work, and, of course, chicken soup may help. Supplements, generally, will not.
