I'm taking gaviscon for gerd, i've also got ranitidine but i'm scared of side effects, will it be ok....?

Gaviscon: Gaviscon contains two drugs , both of which are not absorbed into your system. The usual side effects with multiple use may be constipation or diarrhea (it depends). Ranitidine on the other hand is absorbed and reduces your stomach's production of acid. Side effects are minimal but you should discuss any other medications you are taking with these two for possible drug interactions.
