Hard to swallow? pain and my throat is really red for 3 weeks? what would it most likely be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Esophagitis : You should be seen. What you are describing is consitent with esophagitis. The most common form is due to acid reflux. But it could also be an infectious cause (like candida - which is more common in diabetics or those who just finished a course of antibiotics).
