Tooth paste not: If teeth are very yellow and gray a tooth paste might not be able to whiten teeth. There are two types of stains: from inside of tooth or from outside of tooth. The one from inside is from genetics and can't do much except cosmetic treatments like veneers. The stains from outside very hard to remove with tooth paste. Recommend teeth whitening at your dentist office.

See a dentist: Grey or yellow stains on teeth cannot be removed at home. These stains are usually deeper inside the enamel than toothpaste can help. Having a dentist or hygienist clean your teeth would be best.
