Toothpaste: Toothpaste will not whiten teeth. In most cases, it will not even remove stains. If you want whiter, brighter teeth, see your dentist for a professional cleaning, and use the whitening system recommended by his/her office.

OTC bleach and whitening tooth paste could be used as a supplement only. A professional teeth whitening without laser, followed by home whitening system with custom trays for the long term effect.
