U Should Go To ER: If you think you have acute appendicitis, you should go to an emergency room for evaluation. If you feel too sick to drive, it would be wise to have a friend/family member drive you. 9-1-1 is reserved for life-threatening emergencies (heart attack, stroke, trauma, bleeding, etc). While appendicitis should be addressed asap, it's not in the same category as above.
