How can one deal with glaucoma and the loss of vision?

Low vision support: Hopefully the other eye still has good vision. Preservation of remaining vision with therapy that has the least side effects. Support groups can help. Online forums? Talking with your physician. Going to a low vision clinic for additional low vision aids.

Good relationship : If severe vision loss is present there are some low vision aids available that assist people in conducting their daily activities. Counseling is also important. Unfortunately, to date, there is nothing available to regenerate lost axons from glaucomatous optic neuropathy.
