Smoking is bad.: It causes chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and lung cancer, besides possibility of mouth and esophageal cancer. It contributes to poor healing, foul odor, osteoporosis etc.

Yes: Spend about an hour on a general medical ward and see what the life of an older smoker is like. I'd rather die three times of lung cancer than once of emphysema, but if you smoke at all heavily, you guarantee you'll get emphysema. If you want to still be having sex or walking where you want to in later middle age, do what you can to stop now.
