Corneal Abrasion: Sounds like you have a corneal abrasion. The ordinarily smooth surface of your eye is scratched, and light is scattering as it passes through. The surface is sensitive, and that's why it's still hurting you. Make sure that it's thoroughly rinsed out, and see an eye doctor in the morning. You'll want to be sure this heals properly, and the doctor will decide what kind of drops will promote healing.
