How quickly can a chorioamnionitis infection develop? is it possible to develop it during labour or is it pre-existing?

Varies: Chorioamnionitis usually occurs in labor but yes it can occur before. Typically the longer you're on labor with your water broken the higher the risks. It certainly can occur fast in some cases though.
