Depends!: Diabetes? Better glycemic control. B12 deficiency? B12. Heavy metals? Edta. Idiopathic? ? Lyrica, (pregabalin) gabapentin, and Cymbalta are quite effective for sx's. Unfortunately, many cases are "idiopathic, " meaning no cause is found. Then symptomatic therapy with the mentioned drugs plus nutritional support with b-vitamins is all we currently have.

Nothing: If you have pain due to neuropathy, there are many options but to treat numbness due to neuropathy, no treatment. Be careful......Daily skin inspection.
