Exercise!: Incrementally increase your effort as you endurance improves. Any sporting activity, inlcuding walking is good. But get a heart rate monitor and subtract your age in years from 220 and then multiply this times 0.7. This heart rate will be reached with appreciably little speed, if you are deconditioned. As your endurance improves you will be able to walk faster and farther to achieve that hr. !
