Few possibilities: Which before i even mention, keep in mind we don't see the "lump" you we referring too and for that reason alone i think an in office exam is prudent. But, xanthomas, a burial sac, a haglunds deformity are all possibilities.

May have Haglunds: Deformity or bursitis. You may have a tear in the achilles.
