Yes and No: Any time your body is stressed, certain hormones are released by your body to help you deal with the acute situation. While these are essential to help you during the acute event, they also slightly reduce your immune system, making you more prone to pick up something else. Listen to your body, and get plenty of extra rest, nutritious food, put stressors on the back burner and you will recover!
