Yes, the homeopathic: "treatment" does nothing so in that regard it is "safe" to take forever if you want. As for the improved renal function, that was due to some other, non-homeopathic component of treatment (diet, weight loss, other lifestyle changes, other meds, etc.) or spontaneous improvement of underlying etiology. If you haven't already, consult a nephrologist.
