Verifying dates: Verifying the real due date for a pregnancy is pretty important.Using the date of the last menstrual flow is a common starting point, but using the width of the head on ultrasound is a bit more accurate.(timing of ovulation is a guess)if your fetus measured larger than expected a simple adjustment of the due date is routine.
