How accurate is a ultrasound to determine what they see in a nodule? how can they tell if its cancerous?

Biopsy: Diagnosis of cancer usually requires removal or biopsy of the lesion and examination by a pathologist. Ultrasound by itself is not used for diagnosis of cancer.
